Eve: Expectations

Another of my ‘Eve and the Garden of Eden’ series. The pear and the garden
are here. Adam has already taken a bite from the pear. However, the corn,
representing security and home is near Eve, and phallic cow lilies,
representing carnal desire are near Adam. Each person has quite a
different
expectation in mind, as is often the case. I enjoyed working with
continuous
rhythmic lines and shapes, contrasts of darks and lights. And I always
like
the bare, earthy feet on the people. As a child I went barefoot much of
the
time and felt a closeness to Earth and nature.
