The Kiss

This began as a vertical painting of two people kissing. Later I turned
the
canvas horizontally and began again. I left the original image showing
through the man’s body--like it is his intention to steal a kiss.
Perhaps they are two angels, or an angel and an Earthling. I seldom know
why
I paint what I do. I was consciously busy with the rhythm of the shapes
and
lines, and this is what resulted. It is one of my favorites.
