Graces: Faith

This was the first of the three paintings of goddesses, Faith, Hope and
Charity. I was influenced by Botticelli after visiting Florence Italy in
1994. Yet, it is one of my mother & baby works, as I was a new Granny! It
depicts tranquility and springtime. The outdoors setting is my way of being
close to Nature. The bare feet is so symbolic of being close to the Earth
and grounded. My painting make me feel loved and nurtured, which was not the
case in my growing up, except for periods when I lived with my grandmother.
